Carlos Tevez Injury Not Serious

Manchester United feels happy as Carlos Tevez’s injury is not serious. The forward faced a bad tackle in the first half of their 1-0 victory over Birmingham City recently. After scoring the winner, Carlos Tevez had to leave the field in 71 minute of the match with an injured ankle. Though it was earlier thought to be something serious, club’s official website recently made it clear that Carlos Tevez is not suffering any broken bone. However, he will miss Manchester Untied’s FA Cup showdown against Aston Villa next week. Earlier, Manchester Untied manager said:

"It was a bad tackle and the longer the game went on, the worse the injury got.

Sunderland midfielder Liam Miller will be out for third consecutive match on the Boxing Day against Manchester Untied. Liam Miller was sent off during Sunderland’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. The midfielder has already served two out of three-match ban missing Sunderland’s last two matches against Aston Villa and Reading. The Irish footballer will serve his third match ban on Wednesday when his team will take on Manchester United.

Yes, it is a big blow for Sunderland as they are not getting the service of this midfielder. There is big news for Manager Roy Keane. However, Sunderland needs to bounce back to survive in English premier league this season.

Now, ahead of their crucial match against title contender Manchester Untied, Sunderland has two good news at this moment. Midfielder Kieran Richardson and Defender Russell Anderson are set to return with the match against Manchester Untied after suffering from long term injuries. Russell Anderson was ruled out since his falling in an ankle injury in August. He could yet appear in two matches for Sunderland since his joining the club last summer. Moreover, midfielder Kieran Richardson is also expected to be available for the Boxing Day match against Sunderland. Kieran Richardson suffered a back injury since August and has joined the club’s training a few days ago. Now, he is available to play his only third match for Sunderland.

Sunderland has to bounce back in order to come back in the league.
