Sunderland vs Manchester Untied: Park Ji-sung Ready to Come Back

There are few Asian players playing with sheer consistency in European football leagues. Park Ji-sung, South Korean midfielder, is one of them. Park has suffered from a knee injury since March this year. So Manchester United missed his service this season so far. However, ahead of their Boxing Day tie with Sunderland, Park Ji-sung is now available for Sir Alex Ferguson.

Park started training with Manchester Untied three weeks ago and now fit enough to be drafted in the final line up of Manchester Untied. However, the things will not be so easy for the Korean international as he has to face challenge from Portuguese winger Nani, Owen Hargreaves and Anderson for his place.

Yes, things have changed rapidly and Park has to assimilate with the new situation in Manchester Untied. The only way he can make it to the final line up through performing regularly whenever he gets chance. Park Ji-sung is a quality midfielder and has the talent to play at this level.

However, I think, he might not appear in the starting line up of Manchester Untied in the match against Sunderland. He can be drafted in as substitute. Manchester United is now within a point of Arsenal, who leads the league table at this moment. Sunderland is now facing relegation and they need to bounce back to keep themselves in English premier league. Let us see if Park Ji-sung can win a place of starting line up of Ferguson against Sunderland.
