India vs Australia 1st Test: Anil Kumble haul his 35th Test five wicket

India vs Australia 1st Test has already started with huge excitement and hope. Both India and Australia teams are hoping to get win as it is matter of making new record. Australia is a strong opponent in their home ground and as it is away series for India so, it should be real and competitive test match for both teams. First day of the five-day Test match has just finished now. Australia team scored 337 for 9 where Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble took 5 wickets alone. And his aggressive bowling action has helped India team to bundle Australia in a poor score and put India in a strong position after the first day of the first Test against Australia.

Anil Kumble is the first Indian bowler who broke the Australia’s opening pair. He haul 5 for 84 off 25 overs at the end of the first day. Australian new player Philip Anthony Jaques was his first victim after scoring 66 runs. Then Indian captain Kumble bagged top four wickets of Michael Hussey (2), Andrew Symonds (35), Adam Gilchrist (23) and Brett Lee (0). It was his 35th Test five wicket that help his team to bounce back on a good batting track at the MCG.

Australia was supposed to take the control of the first day with an opening 135 runs partnership. However, at last they could add more 202 runs losing 9 wickets. Now, only one wicket is left of Australia team. Mitchell Johnson (10) and Stuart Clark (21) are in crease. They will start their batting tomorrow in their second day. Let us see who will haul this last wicket.
