Everton vs Arsenal: Arsene Wenger Claims A Good Result at Everton will Prove Everything All Right

After the goalless draw against Portsmouth, now it is thought that this is the beginning of the fall of Arsenal’s dream run. After Thierry Henry left Arsenal in his summer move to Barcelona, Arsenal has become starless. There was a pool of young players in the side and many saw Arsenal having no realistic possibility to win any title this season. However, Arsenal started off the season successfully and they are now in the second place of the league standing. After their draw against Portsmouth, they moved down to the second position in the league table. Arsenal even suffered their first defeat of this season recently.

However, manager Arsene Wenger does not think it as a crisis for Arsenal. Rather, according to Arsene Wenger, a good result against Everton on Saturday will prove everything is going all right. Yes, Everton is one of the resilient sides of English premier league. They are also in good form so far this season. So, winning against Everton on their home soil would mean a lot to the winning team. Indicating just a point difference from Manchester Untied, Arsene Wenger has said that it is not a big deal.

Yes, I agree with Arsene Wenger in this regard that just a point difference is not a matter of worry. However, the pressure is now on Arsenal because any slip up would cost them heavily. However, it is also true that Arsenal does not have big stars that could lead Arsenal. So, Arsene Wenger has done a creditable job this season leading a young side to reach at this level. Now, let us see if Arsenal can defeat Everton to prove worth once again under Arsene Wenger.
