Everton vs Arsenal: Robin van Persie to Miss the Upcoming Match against Everton

Arsenal’s injured forward Robin van Persie will miss the trip to Everton due to his muscle injury. He has been out of action since October with this injury problem. However, he was featured in a match on 12 December but he was not fit enough to continue playing. So, he was rested so far. It was earlier though that Arsenal will get this Dutch forward for their Christmas schedule. However, manager Arsene Wenger has recently confirmed that Robin van Persie will miss their upcoming away match at Everton as well.

Moreover, Arsenal may miss their captain William Gallas against Everton as the defender has suffered an injury on his ankle while playing against Portsmouth. So, it seems that Arsene Wenger has to face some problems while selecting his starting line up in the next match against Everton.

Arsenal has faced problem even before the start of this season. Thierry Henry departed Arsenal in last summer from then on Arsenal has no big star in the squad. Some young but talented footballers including Emmanuel Adebayor, Robin van Persie, Cesc FĂ bregas etc. have led Arsenal to lead the point table throughout the season. Unfortunately they have lost their top place to the defending champion Manchester Untied this week.

Actually, to tell the truth, manager Arsene Wenger was the big star of the club this season. This skilled coach has proved his worth once again leading a young side to this stage. Here, it is notable that Arsenal has also reached at the semi final of Carling cup and at the last 16 of Champions League under the direction of Wenger. Now, let us see if Arsene Wenger can handle the injury woes successfully against Everton.
