Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is a good bowler and is now in good form. His tough bowling action has become the threat of India team in the ongoing three-match Test series. He is the highest wicket taker in Test cricket. This veteran player has already collapsed 735 wickets in 120 Test matches at an average of over six wickets per Test that make him one of the most successful bowlers in the game and the greatest player in Sri Lanka’s history. He is eyeing to haul 1000 wickets in Test cricket. The good news for Sri Lanka cricket fans is that Muttiah Muralitharan is taking the top position in the ICC Test bowling rank. Recently, he was chosen for Sri Lanka’s ‘Most outstanding Sportsman of the Year award’ that boosts him to play well against India in the home series. Sri Lanka vs India 1st Test match will be played at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo. Muralitharan is always destructive in home ground. He is also most experienced bowler in his team.
