Bangladesh cricket team is young and developing day by day. This team started their world cup mission from 1999. So, we can say Bangladesh is a growing up child in the cricket game. However, this team has bagged some big wins showing their impressive performance. Now, they are the host team of Tri-Nation tournament. They will face Pakistan in their opening match today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
Batting seems to be the big problem for Bangladesh team. Two experienced players Aftab Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan are missing from the squad.
In the last match against Pakistan, Shakib played well and one half-century and his second ODI century. Shakib is missing the tri-series for his HSC examination.
Aftab Ahmed has been ruled out after falling into injury during the practice. Alok Kapali will also make his international come back after two years replaced with Aftab in the middle order position.
Cricket fans can see three pacers in the team. Shahadat Hossain has possibility to share new ball with leading bowler Mashrafe Bin Mortaza. Uncapped bowler Dollar Mahmud may be debut in this match.
Experienced spin bowler Abdur Razzak, only one Bangladeshi player to play IPL, has been selected. Now, country will expect more from him.
