Shoaib Akhtar: What do you Think?

Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar’s fate in Indian Premier League is still hanging on the hearing of his appeal against his five year ban from international cricket which will be announced on Sunday. We can know that he will be eligible to play in the new multimillionaire tournament IPL or not. We also can know that what will be his next step, if he is not allowed to play in IPL or his ban from international cricket does not uphold.

He was banned by Pakistan Cricket Board for defaming the board and its chairman Nasim Ashraf and break the cricketers “Code of conduct”.

A civil court in Lahore started hearing a case filed by Ashraf against him for making allegedly defamatory statements during a television interview on 2^nd April. After that interview the PCB imposed ban on his international career.

However, the tribunal told in its interim order that Akhtar is free to play outside the Pakistan but the decision on the ban to play in Pakistan will be taken up in June.

This naughty boy was signed for IPL in the Kolkata Knight Riders for $425,000. But he was barred from appearing in the by IPL council after the PCB banned him on his disciplinary grounds last month.
