Indian Premier League (IPL): What is the future of Shoaib Akhtar

Shoaib Akhtar’s position in his team Kolkata Knight Riders is still uncertain. So, naturally one question comes to our mind that what will be his next footstep. Will Shoaib sign for rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL)?

IPL chairman Lalit Modi sad, “Shoaib Akhtar will not be allowed to play in the Indian Premier League despite being cleared by the Pakistan Cricket board.

This 32 year old controversial naughty boy had been banned by the Pakistan Cricket Board for five years on charges of indiscipline. However, PCB panel confirmed he was free to play outside the country.

Shoaib was signed up by the Kolkata Knight Riders for US $ 425,000. Unfortunately, he was barred from appearing in the tournament by the IPL council "in the interests of international discipline" after the PCB banned him on disciplinary grounds last month.

No doubt, his five-year ban has made his cricket career uncertain. What will he do in this situation?

Will Shoaib join for ICL? Or, fight against his ban from international cricket?
