Shoaib Akhtar: Where he will join IPL or ICL?

Flamboyant fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is expected to join Indian Cricket League. Now, recently he has been banned for five years by Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) after he criticized the body for not offering him one of the top central contracts. This 32 year controversial player was already serving a two-year probationary period and a 13 match ban for assaulting Asif with the bat in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa last year. Both Shoaib and Asif were banned in 2006 after testing positive for nandrolone.

The chairman of PCB said that Shoaib can not play for Pakistan team but he may be eligible to play Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as it falls under a different jurisdiction.

However, controversial player will appeal against this ban. It is the time to see that the appeal will come in favor of him or not.
