Tottenham Hotspur Facing Tougher Arsenal in the Carling Cup Semi Final

Tottenham Hotspur face Arsenal in the first of two legged semi final of Carling Cup this season on Wednesday at the Emirates Stadium. Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal faced each other in the Cup semi final last year with Arsenal reached the final through a 5-3 aggregate victory. So, Arsenal will be interested to project such a victory this time again. However, the task will not be so easy for Tottenham Hotspur to take the revenge over the Premier league leader Arsenal on their home soil.

Pr-inside reported:

Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane are likely to start up front for Spurs, with Jermain Defoe among the replacements again despite having scored five goals in his past seven games.
Coach Juande Ramos has told the England striker, whose contract expires at the end of next season, that he can join another club to boost his chances of a regular starting spot, but Defoe wants to stay and sign a new agreement.

Well, Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane can lead Tottenham Hotspur to give Arsenal their first home defeat this season. However, even Tottenham Hotspur also know it very well that winning a match in the Arsenal home ground has become a tough one this season. Arsenal lost to Chelsea in the final of last season in the Carling Cup. So, this will try their best to win the title this season. However, before that they have to outperform their same city rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
