Robin van Persie to be Back Soon, Says Arsene Wenger

Robin van Persie is expected to come back in action after Premier League match resumes on 12th January. Arsenal has match against Birmingham City that day. So, he may come back with this match. The Dutch forward has been suffering from injury for the last three months. Though he played one match in December as substitute, he immediately was sidelined and now all are expecting his cure. Manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will not be able to be back with the match against Burnley as he is still injured.

Goal.com reported:

Talking ahead of the Burnley Cup-tie, Wenger told the Arsenal website: "Robin van Persie is still injured and will not be involved.

"But it is very short for him now. The next deadline could be Birmingham or just after."

Arsenal is going to lose some key players like Kolo Touré, Alexandre Song and Emmanuel Eboué as they are going to leave the club to take part in the African Nations Cup this month. So, the come-back of Robin van Persie is very important for Arsenal.
