Eduardo da Silva Hopeful for Carling Cup Semi Final Clash with Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal is going to host the arch rival Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg semi final match of Carling Cup. This is the going to be the third North London Derby match as they have already met twice in premier league with Arsenal won both the matches. So, this is the best opportunity for Tottenham Hotspur to take the revenge. However, the league leaders are now in an impressive run this season and it will not be so easy for Tottenham Hotspur to stop Arsenal on their home soil.

Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva is hopeful for their success at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday. Eduardo is now in his prime form with scoring six goals in his last four matches.

Goal.com reported:

"The matches are similar and both full of intensity - but the fans in the North London derby seem to be more civil to one another, while in Croatia the segregation has to be very strictly enforced,” he said.

"I think my experience in matches like this does help when we come up against the likes of Spurs, so I'm looking forward to the Carling Cup game and hoping to feature again."

Eduardo da Silva has been successful partnering with striker Nicklas Bendtner. He has admitted that he has a good understanding with Nicklas Bendtner and can help Arsenal to reach the final. Arsenal was the finalist of Carling Cup last season, where they lost to eventual champion Chelsea. Now, let us see if Arsenal can play the second successive Carling Cup final.
