Ricky Hatton is Confident Enough to Face Floyd Mayweather in WBC Welterweight

British boxer Ricky Hatton is going to face Floyd Mayweather for the American's WBC welterweight crown on 8 December 2007. It is regarded as a historic match in the hasty of British boxing. The match will be held in Las Vegas, USA. Floyd Mayweather is the current champion of World Boxing Council (WBC). However, Ricky Hatton is confident enough to outperform Floyd Mayweather to win the WBC welterweight title.

Nicknamed ‘Hitman’, Ricky Hatton is considered to be one of the greatest British boxers of all time. According to Ricky Hatton, Floyd Mayweather is going to get a shock tomorrow. He has termed that his victory will be the biggest win in British boxing history as he will become the best boxer in the world in any weight division.
