I think, you know that star British boxer Ricky Hatton is a die heard fan of his hometown club, Manchester City. He usually wears blue shorts in boxing ring as part of showing his support to Manchester City. However, Sven-Goran Eriksson, coach of Manchester City, has asked his players not to watch the match at that very late night because Manchester City has to face Tottenham Hotspur in a crucial premier league match on Sunday.
So, it seems that Manchester City players will not be able to watch one of the much talked boxing matches of this year between Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather. Both of them are still undefeated in their career. So, both the players are confident enough to keep continue their winning streak ahead of this crucial boxing fight. The match is set to he held on 8 December 2007 in Las Vegas.
No doubt, Manchester City players are unfortunate that they are going to miss out such an exciting fight. However, coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has also confirmed that the players can watch the reply of the match at 9 or 10 in the morning. Besides, this former coach of England team has also sent his wishes to Ricky Hatton.
