India will bound for Australia at the end of this year to play a four match Test series and a triangular ODI series with the host Australia and Sri Lanka in Aussies home yard. India is always strong opponent against any team in their home ground. And now they are going to Australia to play four Test matches so, it should be a real Test match for India team. Australia is the world number one team among all the cricket teams. And they are dominating the cricket world more than one decade. But India team is now in good form after getting win against Pakistan team by 1-0 after 27 years. So, no doubt, it is a great challenge for Australia team to prove their dominance against test playing team.

Now, most of you already know that first Test match between India vs. Australia will start from 26th December 2007 but the luck of match series will depend on third test. If you are fan of cricket game then surely you want to know the venue of third Test match, W.A.C.A. Ground, Perth. The W.A.C.A is a sport stadium in Perth, Western Australia. It is the home ground of Western Australia's domestic cricket team which is currently known as Western Warriors. The W.A.C.A ground has been home of sports including AFL, rugby (both codes) and soccer, but its real fame is as a cricket ground. It was not part of Australia's main cricket community. It is established in 1890 but the first Test match was played at the ground in 1970 between Australia and England. Australian great Greg S Chappell and English P Lever debut in this venue. The pitch at the WACA has historically been regarded as one of the quickest and bounciest in the world. As characteristics in afternoon sea-breezes regularly pass the ground that have historically made the ground an attractive place for pace and swing bowlers. Moreover this pitch is helpful for spinners as it has flattened out and suited batsmen more. In 2002, the ground was redeveloped and its capacity reduced to make it more economical. It has 24,500 people carrying capacity including temporary seating.

This cricket ground has many records in its shortage of life. Now, both India and Australia teams are making many records in cricket world. So, obviously we can see many records in this venue.
