IPL: Wasim Jaffer of Bangalore Royal Challengers Injured

Bangalore Royal Challengers opener Wasim Jaffer has been ruled out for three weeks because of his fracture in his hand during the match against Chennai Super Kings on April 28.

Now, his injury has fallen Bangalore Royal Challengers in a great disaster to make opening pair. No doubt, his absence in his team will create a big problem to set an opening pair ahead of the future T20 matches.

Wasim Jaffer is one of the successful Test batsmen among all new comers. But he can’t show his talent in the shortest form of cricket game. Domestic player Jagadeesh Arunkumar is likely to play with the opening position in the forthcoming matches against Kolkata Knight Riders. This 33 year old batsman has 3227 runs at an average of 33.96 in List A.

Rahul Dravid’s Bangalore is worried with their opening pair and they had tried five different opening combinations- Jaffer and Rahul Dravid, Shivanarine Chanderpaul and Dravid, Jaffer and Bharat Chipli, Jaffer and Virat Kohli and Jaffer and Praveen Kumar- at the end all of the pair had fail to make a strong and durable pair in the opening position.

Wasim Jaffer scored 110 runs in 99 balls from five matches. Bangalore is now taking bottom position after losing all consecutive defeat. They have already lost their hope to take place in the in the second position.
