Jacksonville Jaguars’ Running Back Fred Taylor Received Pro Bowl Invitation

Jacksonville Jaguars running back, Fred Taylor has recently been invited to this year’s Pro Bowl. The honor has come late to the running back with a successful career. However, ahead of the important match against New England Patriots on Sunday, he is happy with the invitation. However, Taylor has also said that he preferred to be out of focus ahead of the match. Fred Taylor now stands 17th in the list of NFL’s career rushing. He was the only player to receive a Pro Bowl invitation among the top 49 rushers in the list.

Orlandosentinel reported:

"It's a great honor [but] it doesn't change my preparation," said Taylor, who is 17th on the NFL's career rushing list. "My teammates have been happy for me . . . but we've all downplayed it."

"It's good to see it's there, but at the same time, it doesn't change any of our routine," Taylor said.

The invitation came in a crucial time when he is like other Jaguars players are preparing for the divisional round playoff match against New England Patriots. Now, let us see if the honor inspires Fred Taylor to come up with a special performance against the Patriots helping Jaguars to progress to the championship game.
