The performance of Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006 was something every team in any sport tries to forget. Well,
Pewterreport reported:
Not only did Tampa Bay win the NFC South division title for the second time in three seasons, the Buccaneers accomplished that feat with 14 players on injured reserve and a cast of "no-names" filling the voids left by injured players like running back Cadillac Williams, left tackle Luke Petitgout and fullback Mike Alstott.
Unfortunately for the Buccaneers, serviceable backups like RB Earnest Graham, LT Donald Penn, FB B.J. Askew and defensive end Greg White could only get the team so far as they were eliminated from the playoffs on Sunday.
However, they are now confident to do well next time and whatever they achieved this season was something praiseworthy for them. Coach Jon Gruden hailed his boys for a tremendous achievement this season. Tampa Bay Buccaneers did not get all of the key players like quarterback Jeff Garcia. Still, the performance of their offense was very good this season. Now, let us see if Tampa Bay Buccaneers can continue their development in 2008 as well.
