Buffalo Bills’ Record Breaking 2007

NFL 2007 regular season was not that bad for Buffalo Bills with finishing second to the undefeated New England Patriots in the AFC East division. However, with 7-9 record, they have just missed out the playoff round of AFC. However, the team has made some team and individual records, which show the talent and skill of the players.

Trent Edwards achieved the record of most touchdown passes in a game by a rookie. He had four touchdown passes in the second match against Miami which ensured a great start by Trent Edwards. There are some more records made by Buffalo Bills players this season.

Buffalobills reported:

Rian Lindell His 18 straight field goals stretching from Oct. 21 vs. Baltimore to the second matchup with Miami on Dec. 9 broke the previous record of 17 attempts in a row set by Steve Christie. And Lindell's kicks during that streak weren't all chippies. Five of those 18 were from 40 yards or more including the record breaker which was a 51-yarder.

Roscoe Parrish - The punt returner had a season worth noting. Not only did he lead the league and set a team record for highest punt return average in a season (16.3), but he has also set the franchise mark for highest punt return average in a career (13.56) and broke the record for the most punt return yards in a season with 440.

So, it is really disappointing that Buffalo Bills had some tremendous performance throughout the season but could not enter into playoff round. However, they can inspire themselves and prepare for something better next season.
