Australia vs India 3rd Test: Who will win?

Australia vs India 3rd Test is now the much awaited match to all cricket fans. It is going to take place at W.A.C.A. Ground, Perth from 16th to 20th January, 2008. Match will start at 11:30 local time and 02:30 GMT. Now, host team is leading the series by 2-0 in the four match BG series. Last match was played at Sydney where Australia beat India by 122 runs in a draw match. After winning this match, Australian captain bagged 16th consecutive Test win in a row and equaled their own world record that was hold under Steve Waugh’s Australia team from 1999 to 2001.

The third Test match that is going to start on Wednesday at WACA will attract huge interest after the explosive events of Sydney. You already know that Sydney is the most talk topic because of horrendous umpiring and Harbhajan Singh’s three-match ban for alleged racial abuse against Symonds. And that is why, BCCI announced to pull out the tour series if ICC doesn’t suspension the Harbhajan Singh’s three-test ban.

However, chief of the ICC, Malcolm Speed, clear the appeal of Harbhajan Singh who will be eligible to play Test until the hearing will be announced.

Australia team is seeking towards their 17th consecutive Test win in a row. And they want to confirm it in the Perth Test in their home ground. It is a big challenge for India team to stop Australia team again that they did in Kolkata in 2001.

India last visited Australia in 2003 where they defeated Australia team in Adelaide and made the series 1-1 draw.

Ahead of the third Test in Perth, some questions have arisen in the mind. That are- what will happen in WACA ground, who will win the match, who will be the out form player, who will make record etc. But before finding the answer of these questions, you have to know that both teams will play in right spirit and Australia will show their sportsmanship conduct. Sledging will happen in the cricket field again?

Australian batsman Michael Clarke said that Perth Test would be played in a better spirit, with captains Ricky Ponting and Anil Kumble both calling for clear-the-air-talks.

Some change will be appeared in the third Test. Australian opening batsmen Matthew Hayden, who played in all 16 win, is not sure to play in the third Test and that fall Australia in a big problem. Now, Chris Rogers is hoping to get selection in the main squad replace with Matthew Hayden.

Indian aggressive batsman Virender Sehwag is perhaps to play for his side. This veteran batsman played only two ODIs in Perth and performed well. So, Australia team should try to find out to stop this batsman at any how. His aggressive batting in opening pair can ensure India’s win.

Match result depends on what the WACA pitch will behave with the players. Curator of WACA, Cameron Sutherland, says he has prepared an older strip for the wicket that will be friendly to both pace and spin. But WACA ground is the more helpful for bouncy and pace. So, it is surer that Australian pace bowlers should take this benefit.

It is tough to say what will happen before the start of the third match. If any team can make a big lead in the first innings then it can destined the fate of the luck. So, dear fans keep watching the Australia vs India 3rd Test till the end to know the winning team.
