Australia vs India 2nd Test 2008: Matthew Hayden join Sir Donald Bradman

Australian left-arm opener Matthew Hayden has made his 29th Test century and second in the series at the SCG.

After scoring century he has joined with Sir Donald Bradman who also has equal Test century. He scored 123 off facing 196 balls including 12 boundaries.

With his right thigh injury he played against India team. He helped his team to make 213 run lead at the rain interrupt end of the fourth day.

It was his fifty Test century against India team. He said he liked to play against India team. And he has already scored 1500 runs against the same opponent team.

After scoring century and steering Australia to a position of command, Matthew Hayden was caught reverse sweeping by Wasim Jaffer of the bowling of Anil Kumble.

Now, the host team led by 213-run, with the score at 4 for 282.

In his way of century, he made a 85 run partnership with another opener Phil Jaques and 5 runs partnership in second wicket with skipper Ricky Ponting made last partnership with Michael Hussey.

He played 93 Tests and his total score is 8126.

He is just 36 year old. No doubt he will break the record of the highest Test centuries if he continues his same form in every match against every team.
