Zaheer Khan Doubt for Australia vs India 1st Test?

India’s cricket match means always special for cricket fans. If India plays any match then it doesn’t need to know who the opposite team is. Now, India team is in Australia to play a four matches Test series against mighty Australia team in their home ground. It seems to all cricket experts as an important and real Test series for both Indian and Australian cricket team. The first Test between India and Australia will take place at MCG venue on 26th December, 2007.

Ahead of the Test series, Indian selectors have already announced their 16-men squad tour to Australia where Indian spearhead pace bowler has been included as a main bowler. Zaheer Khan is the most successful pace bowler in India team. He made some impressive performance against a few teams in home ground and out-side the Indian sub-continent. For his impressive performance, he has made his place in 12th position as a Test bowler among the 100 bowlers. He picked 13 wickets at 30.38 from three Tests against South Africa in the away series and gave England a dose of their own medicine to grab 18 wickets at 20.33 in three matches. He picked up eight wickets from two Tests against Bangladesh (21.88), and five against Pakistan from two matches (38.20). He has also claimed 40 wickets from 34 One-dayers since last year. However, his previous trip to Australia was not good enough. He picked only five wickets in the opening Test in Brisbane. However, his recent form informed that he will play well against Australia team. But his psychical fitness fall Indian think-tank in a difficult problem ahead of the Boxing day Test series against Australia. He missed the final test against Pakistan in Bangalore due to the injury. No doubt, his injury has made a big problem in India’s pace bowling attack. Now, it is the time to see who will replace in his position. Or the replace player in the place of him can show equal performance.

India’s management and board are thinking to play Munaf Patel as a replacement bowler for the first Test. He now just come back from injury. So, it is expecting that Indian cricket team doesn’t have to face any problem to find any pacer for opening pair.
