Top 10 Test bowlers in LG ICC cricket ranking

LG ICC players ranking has already been announced. I know most of you are excited to know the name of top ten players. Yes, in this post I have collected top ten Test playing bowlers name according to points. You can see many changes in the list. Three Asian bowlers have been included in the top list. Now see the top players name in the table chart.

1. Muttiah Muralidaran:- Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralidaran is now taking the top position among the Test bowlers in LG ICC players ranking. He passed this year with some great performance. He also breaks the record of Shane Warne’s highest Test wickets. He showed his best perform against England in the first two Test matches and was awarded man of the series. He took six wickets in the match in Colombo, including five in the first innings, and he easily retains his place at the top of the log among 100 bowlers.

2. Makhaya Ntini:- South African bowler Makhaya Ntini is now taking the second position with 808 points. He has already got 300 above Test wicket.

3. Dale Steyn:- Dale Steyn is another South African who is taking the 3rd place after Makhaya Ntini. He has come back with the Twenty20 match. Then replace with Shaun Pollock in Test against New Zealand. He performed well against New Zealand team and is the secret of taking the place in 3rd position.

4. Stuart Clark:- Australian fast bowler Stuart Clark has been selected for both Test and ODI team. He performed well against Sri Lanka in home series. He got 769 points.

5. Anil Kumble:- India’s Test captain Anil Kumble is now in number 5th position. He performed well with the ball. He hauls 3rd highest wickets in Test cricket. He got five wickets in the second innings of last Test that saw dream to India team to get win against Pakistan team but because of bad light match was drawn.

6. Brett Lee:- Australian speed star Brett Lee is now taking number 6th position in the top list of Test bowler ranking. After injury he has come back the Australian cricket team this year. He also missed 2007 ICC World Cup because of his knee injury.

7. Matthew Hoggard:- English bowler Matthew Hoggard is now in superb form. He is the leading bowler in England team. He is now in number 6 along with Australian fast bowler Brett Lee taking equal points of 726.

8. Shane Bond:- New Zealand star bowler police man Shane Bond is in number 8th position with 724 points.

9. Shaun Pollock:- South African bowling great Shaun Pollock is now in number 9th position. He is now doing poor performance. And that is the reason for getting down in a top list Test player ranking.

10. Shoaib Akhtar:- Pakistani fast bowler has come back in the main squad of Pakistan team after 18 months. He missed ICC World Cup Cricket 2007 because of injury. Now, he is totally cure and has already played few matches for Pakistan team. Last match he played against India team where he performed well.

Here in this post I have given only top ten Test bowlers name among 100 bowlers. Many famous bowlers could not make place in the top chart. But it is good news for Asian that Muttiah Muralidaran is in the top place.
