Portsmouth vs Arsenal: Cesc Fabregas Says Having More Responsibility than Ever

Arsenal has been in a great form this season. After Thierry Henry left Arsenal earlier this season, it was really something challenging for the side to ensure good performance. Many even wrote off Arsenal having any chance in the title race this season. However, the reality is different. The Gunners are now leading the point table with 43 points.

However, Cesc Fàbregas thinks Henry’s departure made it easy for the other players of the squad to come in and involve in the team success. He has said that the players of the squad have more responsibility now that they had earlier. To him, two or three years ago people would just see Henry whenever Arsenal played.

Yes, it was thought to be a tough season for Arsenal. However, they have been impressive so far this season. Henry’s absence inspired the other member of the squad to play well and to prove that Arsenal still has the ability to remain at the top. Arsenal is going to play against Portsmouth tomorrow. Now, let us see if Cesc Fàbregas can continue his tremendous form against Portsmouth as well.
